July is the month to start thinking about Christmas Crochet Projects. I like to start thinking about what I want to crochet for a craft fair and Christmas presents for friends and family in July, so I’m not too rushed in November or December. That planning does not always work out, but I try.
First, I review all the patterns and ideas I have saved on my computer and Pinterest. When something looks good to me, I print the picture and directions. Then I go through my stack of patterns and pick out my favorites. Next, I check those patterns with my yarn stash and other supplies. If I need to purchase more yarn [this is really doubtful 🙂 ], a trip to a craft store is next.
Last week I found a pattern for a couple really cute Thanksgiving gnomes so I plan to crochet them and other small stuffed items for the craft fair. Tomorrow I will begin my review of ideas for other craft fair items and Christmas presents.
