Good morning crochet friends!
Today’s pattern is a cute Beginners Easy Summer Dishcloth. Dishcloth patterns abound on the Internet. There seem to be hundreds, but I wanted to create a pattern with pictures and no abbreviations for a friend who has just started crocheting. So I selected the Moss Stitch for this dishcloth (chain 1, skip 1, single crochet).
The pictures for the Beginners Easy Summer Dishcloth include dishcloths made with a solid yellow cotton yarn, a pretty variegated blue/green/white cotton yarn, and a piece crocheted with orange and yellow cotton yarns.

Thank you for the clear pattern instructions and photos, especially the reminder to crochet in 1st stitch and crochet in last stitch.
I think I can do this now and end up with straight edges. :0

I’m glad the instructions helped you. Straight edges and keeping the correct stitch count are often a problem for me and I’ve been crocheting forever! Please try my other patterns and let me know what you think. Kathy
