The Chevron Hot Pad Crochet Pattern features a unique, wavy pattern. The hot pad can be crocheted in two or more colors or a solid color and makes a perfect gift for a housewarming, birthday, or holiday. The double thickness of the hot pad makes this a great addition to any kitchen. As always, cotton yarn is best for hot pads as acrylic yarns may melt and burn when exposed to high temperatures.

Sorry to hear this. The first row is always difficult. My testers found that they needed to go slowly and count every stitch to finally get the correct count.
