The Crochet Little Easter Candy Bag takes a small amount of yarn and works up very quickly with single and double crochet stitches. Fill The Little Easter Candy Bag with favorite candies or small Easter gifts. The bag is a great yarn stash buster – using less than 30 total yards of yarn.

Materials:
Small amounts of cotton or worsted weight yarn (25 yards Color A and 5 yards Color B)
H / 5.00mm hook
Stitch marker
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Size: approximately 3” h x 3”w

Abbreviations: (US terms)
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
sl st – slip stitch
st – stitch(es)
** – repeat instructions between * *

Notes:
- Ch 1 and Ch 2 count as stitches
- At the end of each round join with sl st to ch 1, ch 2 or sc
- Use stitch marker at beginning of rows 5-7
Instructions:
With Color A, ch 3, join with sl st to form ring
Round 1: ch 1, 5 sc in ring (6) (join – see above note)
Round 2: ch 1, sc in same st, 2 sc in each st around (12)
Round 3: repeat round 2 (24)
Round 4: ch 2, dc in each st around (24)
Round 5-7: repeat round 4 (24)
Fasten off first color
Switch to Color B (optional)
Round 8: attach yarn to a st, ch 1, *sc in same stitch, ch 2, sc in same stitch, sl st in next st* , repeat * * around to end, join with sl st to sc. Finish off and weave in ends.
Finishing:
Cut a 20” piece of Color B and weave yarn through every 2 dc stitches. Pull yarn to tighten top and tie a bow. Trim ends if necessary.
