One Skein Keyhole Scarf -

Materials:

Lion Brand Homespun (6 oz., 185 yd), Gemstone Stripes (color discontinued) or other bulky #5 yarn, 1 skein

K-10.5, 6.50 mm crochet hook

Size: 8” x 52”

Ch – chain

Hdc – half double crochet

Dc – double crochet

St – stitch

Notes:

Turning chains count as the first stitch.

Last stitch of row is placed in turning chain, not dc or hdc.

Instructions

Ch 126.

Row 1: Dc into sixth ch from hook, *ch 1, skip next ch, dc into next ch. Repeat from * across, turn.

Row 2: Ch 3, skip first st, *dc into ch-1 space, ch 1. Repeat from * across, ending row with dc in turning chain, turn.

Row 3: ch 3, *hdc in ch-1 space, ch 1. Repeat from * across, ending row with hdc in turning chain, turn.

Rows 4-5: Repeat row 2.

Row 6: Ch 3, *hdc into first space, ch 1, repeat from * 8 more times, hdc into next space, ch 7, skip next 3 ch-1 spaces, *hdc into next space, ch 1, repeat from * across, ending with hdc in turning chain, turn.

Row 7: Ch 3, *hdc into first space, ch 1, repeat from * to last space before chain 7, hdc in first chain, ch 1, skip one chain, *hdc in next chain, ch 1, skip one chain, repeat from * 3 more times, *hdc in next ch-1 space, repeat from * across to last ch-1 space, ending row with hdc in turning chain, turn.
