In celebration of National Granny Square Day, I’m going to post 5 Great Granny Square crocheted and designed by other crocheters. Every time I see these squares I start thinking of how I could use them in a design or a gift to someone (or me!).
The first is The Solomon Crochet Square by Joanita Theron Designs. I love the design – the colors and stitches seem to burst out and I just want to touch the textures.
.
And look at the texture in this square! Tropical Delight by Susan A. Stevens.
.
.
Now look at the simplicity and detail of this darling granny square – the Sue Square at Look At What I Made.
.
.
And I love the idea of a circle crocheted into a square. This simple Sunburst Granny is lovely and by Purple Chair Crochet.
.
And I love the delicate lines of the Primavera Flower Granny Square at Dada’s Place.
.
.
And don’t forget a few of my own favorite designs!
.
The Rustic Sunflower Granny Square is my all-time favorite.
.
The Crossing Lines Granny Square.

Have a great day !
